This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Yenny Stromgren of Everyday Light Warriors and Noosa Stories. Yenny shares her story of depression after her marriage separation to having her podcast in the Top 40 in iTunes. An inspiring story and reminder to pick ourselves back up again, create vision and be around people with passion and heart.
I love the power of storytelling. I was just with a girlfriend and we were discussing how so many Miracles happen when we connect with each other through telling our story and listening to others. It's special and intimate and connects us on a deeper level. I love that when we tell our stories we are simply sharing and connecting, rather than telling others what to do or how to be. It's a delicious energy that's created and it's so powerful and important.
The past few months I've been guided to broaden my spiritual horizons. And I feel a little unsure writing this because my old school beliefs of spirituality are that you 1. don't talk about it and 2. you have to pick a side (and stick to it). I arrived to my local barista ordering a coconut milk latte. I had left it tight for time to enjoy my coffee before yoga but I was determined to fit it all in. The ultimate morning trifecta; beach walk, coffee and yoga!
On Saturday I set out with some mates to climb Mount Beerwah. The highest of the Glasshouse Mountains on the Sunshine Coast. I set myself a personal goal this year to climb ALL the Glasshouse Mountains, it's the middle of the year and I've only ticked one off the list. So, when a friend invited for an early morning climb I jumped at the opportunity! Well, actually I passed,
I knew the first miracle to write about would be love. Why? Because love is the miracle that created a major shift in me, beyond any other. The miracle of love changed my lens on so many things and most importantly it's given me the belief that with prayer and honest intention absolutely anything is possible.
